We use no analytics or tracking cookies of our own. On your first visit a banner asks whether you allow advertising and external content. Nothing marked “Yes” below loads until you allow it, and “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”. Refusing does not limit your access to any information on the site.

Service providers and transfers
- Hosting: Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus). The servers are in the United Kingdom, which has an EU adequacy decision. Hostinger processes data on our behalf under its data processing agreement.
- Automatic news updates: articles from public news sources are summarised with Anthropic’s Claude service (USA). Only public news text is sent, never data about visitors.
- Email: contact-form messages are delivered to the editors’ mailbox through the hosting provider’s mail service.
- Advertising: Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd) shows ads only to visitors who accept advertising. Google decides how it uses this data, as an independent controller: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertisers have no influence on our content.
Your rights
You may ask for access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability (GDPR articles 15–21), and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to the publisher’s contact address above; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
