Government responds to ANA’s technical report on the new Lisbon airport
As of
The Ministries of Finance and of Infrastructure sent ANA their response to the technical report. They ask for different demand scenarios, further demonstration of runway and taxiway configuration and full compatibility with Code F aircraft, and a clear expansion and phasing strategy, including justification for dropping the earlier Terminal 2 or satellite concept. The financial report is due on 16 January 2027 and the complete application by 16 January 2028 at the latest. The response 'does not constitute formal acceptance' of the complete application.
